Who I Am
Hey there! I'm Mitchell, a passionate software engineer with a desire to always explore a wide variety of technology stacks. With experience in cross-platform and native mobile development, enterprise-level event driven microservice integration, and full stack SaaS application development, I've found unique problem spaces through each that I've really enjoyed getting to explore.
My approach to development centers on writing clean, maintainable code while never losing sight of the end user's experience. I'm constantly learning and exploring new technologies so I can leverage the best toolsets for each new project I find myself diving into.
What I Do
Full-Stack Development
Building end-to-end web applications with modern frameworks like Next.js, React, and Node.js. From database design to responsive frontends, I handle the complete stack, from payment integration to UX that keeps users engaged.
Enterprise-Grade Event Driven Architecture
With a focus on event-driven, asynchronous designs, I've built solutions that provide resiliency when the unexpected occurs. Emphasizing RESTful design in these systems, dealing with network and application downtime no longer becomes a weekend support nightmare.
UI/UX Implementation
For frontend experiences, I have a "product sense" focus on clean and modern design. With each application having its own nuance, I work to find the line between form and function, whether I'm building a modern customer portal, internal developer tooling, or complex dashboards.
API Design & Integration
